HY Report 2022

We are very thankful to Almighty Allah and all the donors who are continuously supporting Al-Kauser in its mission to support the needy segment of the community through education, family support, and community development. Alhamdulillah, in H1 2022, Al-Kauser raised $350,872 and donated $359,319. During this period, we received 18% more donations than the same period last year while the disbursements grew by 12%. We are not only sustaining massive growth that we saw during Covid but we are actually growing our donor base as well. Details in the attached report.

We are very encouraged with the continuous momentum. Recently, we signed multiple MOUs with prestigious universities in Pakistan to directly transfer fees to the universities’ accounts. Alhamdulilah, Al-Kauser’s efforts are recognized by multiple universities through awards and appreciations. We are also building relationships with Higher Education Institutes to monitor progress of our scholars, and have developed an in-house Students Data Management software to track the progress of our students. At the same time, we also leveraged the favorable USD-PKR exchange rate to add more deserving students in Al-Kauser’s Scholarship program.

As we approach the beginning of the academic year, we have $77,000 fees due in August and September to the following institutions:  

NED University $20,000
University of Karachi $15,000
Institute of Business Administration $12,000
Sir Syed University of Engineering $13,000
Federal Urdu University 12,000
Dawood University $5,000

We need your support in paying the fees for the deserving merit based students. We are again very grateful to all of our donors for their continuous trust in Al-Kauser. And pray to Allah for continued momentum and the ability to deliver for the community in need.
